Jeffrey Barany is a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Division of the Institutional Securities Group of Morgan Stanley. He is the Founder and Global Head of the USD Interest Rate Linked Structured Notes business. In this role, he is responsible for the origination, structuring and trading of retail and institutional interest rate and FX –linked structured products. Mr. Barany is also responsible for Non-Japan Asia local currency interest rate linked structured notes.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1999, Mr. Barany held positions in structured products and interest rate risk management at The Chase Manhattan Bank. He is a 1999 MBA graduate of The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania where he studied finance and statistics. Mr. Barany graduated with a BBA from Ohio University in 1990.
