Greg Kennedy is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Global Financial Institutions Group, based in New York. He has responsibility for leading the Bank's coverage efforts for many depository institution and specialty finance clients. Mr. Kennedy is a member of the Investment Banking Committee.
Mr. Kennedy joined Credit Suisse First Boston in August 2005 from Morgan Stanley, where he was member of its Financial Institutions Group since 1999. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Kennedy was an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. Mr. Kennedy has executed important mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions for Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bancorp, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Capital One, Toronto Dominion, SunTrust, Colonial BancGroup, TPG Capital and UnionBanCal among others.
Mr. Kennedy has a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. with distinction from Stanford Law School. He is an inactive member of the Bar associations of California and of New York.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the not-for-profits ArtsConnection and The Healthcare Chaplaincy in New York, of the Stanford Associates and of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School.
