Philipp Klingelhofer

Philipp joined Citi's Investment Bank in 2000 and has since worked on more than $50 billion of M&A and financing transactions over the last 9 years in the US, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
Since joining the dedicated Infrastructure Investment Banking group in its first year of operation in 2006 Philipp has worked with infrastructure funds, government agencies, large global pensions, Sovereign Wealth Funds, global corporates and others on a number of transactions across all relevant infrastructure sectors including ports, rail, airports, toll roads, waste, water, electricity & gas transmission and distribution, power generation, midstream pipelines, lotteries etc.
Prior to joining the Infrastructure Investment Banking group, Philipp was a Vice President in Citi’s Corporate M&A team focused on M&A Transaction management and an Associate and Analyst in the Healthcare and the Power & Utilities practice of the Investment Bank in New York and London. Philipp holds a Masters degree in Economics with a major in Finance from the University of Cologne, Germany, and has also completed studies at the Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, and the ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, and is a CFA charterholder.
