Managing Director, Co-Head of the Americas Energy and Power Group, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Parker has over twenty years of investment banking experience, working on mergers & acquisitions, equity financings and debt financings for a number of companies in a variety of industries.
He currently is the Co-Head of the Americas Energy and Power Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Responsibilities include managing the firm’s relationships with investor owned utility companies and coordinating the firm’s clean energy investment banking activities. Strategic transaction experience includes advising Cinergy on their merger with Duke; Allete on their carve-out and spin off of ADESA; Dominion Resources on the disposition of their telecom assets; and Great Plains on the sale of Strategic Energy. Financing transactions include over $6 billion of equity issuance and over $20 billion of debt issuance with notable transactions including offerings for Dominion Resources, Exelon, FPL, Covanta, PSEG, Otter Tail and Macquarie Infrastructure Trust.
He is also the Head of the Americas Clean Energy Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. As part of this effort, the firm has participated in advisory and financing transactions in the Solar, Wind, Bio-mass, Smart Grid and Fuels industries.
Parker graduated with a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the JL Kellogg School of Management and remains active in recruiting, serving as the relationship manager for both Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania.
