Mr. Neff is a founding Managing Partner of Quaker BioVentures, a $300 million life sciences venture capital firm based in Philadelphia. Previously, Mr. Neff was President and Operating Officer of Neose Technologies, a leading publicly traded biotechnology company based in Pennsylvania. Mr. Neff held prior positions as Senior Vice President - Corporate Development of U.S. Healthcare, a leading managed care company, as Managing Director - Investment Banking of Alex. Brown & Sons, and as an attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Mr. Neff is on the board of directors of the following companies: Neose Technologies, Resource America, The Bancorp, and BioRexis Pharmaceuticals. In addition, Mr. Neff serves on the boards of the following organizations: Greater Philadelphia Venture Group, University City Science Center, and the Biotechnology Institute. Mr. Neff is a past President of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association, is on the technology advisory board of the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, is on the Advisory Committee of the Biotechnology Industry Organization's BIOVenture Forum, and is on the policy board of WXPN-FM, an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Neff is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Wesleyan University.
