David Durkin serves as a Principal of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners III, L.P., a $5.3 billion private equity fund which operates as part of Credit Suisse First Boston Private Equity. Mr. Durkin joined CSFB Private Equity in November 2000 upon the merger with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he had been a Vice President in the Merchant Banking Group since 2000. Prior to that, he served as a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group and other roles within investment banking at DLJ since 1996. Earlier in his career, Mr. Durkin worked in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and achieved the designation of Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Durkin serves on the board of directors of AKI, Inc./AKI Holdings, Inc., Merrill Communications LLC/Merrill Corporation, Prometheus Laboratories, Inc. and Seabulk International, Inc. Mr. Durkin holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Stanford University.
