Marianne Benet is manager of US Government Programs at FINCA International in Washington, DC. She designs microfinance programs for FINCA's worldwide operations and is responsible for the organization's relationship with the US Agency for International Development and the US Department of Agriculture.

Ms. Benet received a Masters in Foreign Service with a certificate in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown University's Edward Walsh School of Foreign Service. Previously, she was program officer at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas in New York City. Ms. Benet graduated with honors from Wesleyan University
