Mark Piegza is a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities, where he heads the satellite investment banking practice. Prior to joining BAS, Mark was an Executive Director in UBS Warburg's Media Group, focused on the satellite and broadband sectors. Mark worked in the media and telecom groups, in New York and Hong Kong, of DLJ from 1993 to 2000 and CSFB (after its acquisition of DLJ) from 2000 to May 2001 and was a co-founder of DLJ's Satellite Finance Group. Mark has worked on a variety of transactions, including public and private offerings of debt and equity, merchant banking transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Piegza worked as an Analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert and as a Management Associate at Citibank. Mark's clients include APT Satellite, AsiaSat, Bresnan Communications, Cablevision Systems, Eutelsat, Hughes Electronics/DIRECTV, Intelsat, Millennium Digital Media, News Corp., PanAmSat, Pegasus Communications, SES Global, Shin Satellite, Sirius Satellite Radio, and Wildblue Communications.
