Buzz Doherty,

Adrian "Buzz" Doherty is a Managing Director and Head of the Oil and Gas Sector, within Barclays Capital's Investment Banking Division in the Americas.

He began his banking career at JP Morgan in 1976 working with clients in the Middle East, and subsequently spent the majority of the next two decades working with clients in the oil and gas marketplace. In 1999, he moved to Salomon Smith Barney as the senior origination officer responsible for equity capital markets activity in the oil and gas, power, alternate energy and industrial sectors. In late 2001, he was a founding Director of Anzon Energy Limited, an Australia-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in southeast Asia.

Mr. Doherty received his MBA from the Wharton Graduate Business School and his AB degree in geology magna cum laude from Amherst College.

He also serves on the board of directors of Global Power Equipment Group, a multinational manufacturer of equipment for gas turbine power plants based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
