Vivian Kotun,
Deutsche Bank Microcredit Development Fund (DB MDF)
Ms. Kotun co-manages a nearly $3 million loan portfolio to microfinance institutions worldwide. Her responsibilities at the DB MDF include credit analysis of loan applications, as well as managing operations, administration, and documentation of the Fund's global portfolio. In addition, Ms. Kotun is part of the team in charge of developing the $50 million Global Commercial Microfinance Consortium, which intends to provide institutional investors with the opportunity to capitalize on the profit prospects in global microfinance and convey social benefits by linking key players in the microfinance sector, the local banking sector and international capital markets.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Ms. Kotun worked in the European Marketing Center as Sales Developer at Hewlett Packard France. Ms. Kotun has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, and a Masters in International Business from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble, in France. She currently serves on the board of Neighborhood Trust, a community development credit union dedicated to the financial empowerment of the low-income Latino community in Upper Manhattan.
