Michael Movsovich is a partner in the rapidly expanding New York corporate group of Kirkland & Ellis. His diverse corporate practice focuses on leveraged acquisitions, private equity/venture capital investments and related financings, fund formation, corporate mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Michael assists his clients in solving complex legal and transactional issues in a creative, constructive and efficient manner as well as building the relationships that are fundamental to their business. Michael's client representations include very large and mid-sized leveraged buyout funds, small and mid-sized venture capital funds, their portfolio companies and other public and private concerns. His representative clients include Vestar Capital Partners, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Cornerstone Equity Investors and General Motors Pension Trusts.

Michael graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from The College of New Jersey, where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and Blue Key National Honor Society. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
