Joe Sauvage is a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and Co-Head of the Global Power Group in investment banking. He joined Lehman Brothers in 1977 and has a wide variety of experience in the power and energy sectors, including strategic advisory, financial restructuring, and equity and debt capital raising transactions. Specific experience includes the acquisition and subsequent divestiture of CILCORP by the AES Corporation ("AES"), the acquisition of IPALCO Enterprises by AES, the acquisition and financing of the Homer City Generating Station by Edison Mission Energy, leveraged lease financing of the Powerton and Joliet generating facilities by Edison Mission Energy, the acquisition of the Northern Natural Gas Pipeline by MidAmerican Energy Holdings, advice to DQE, Inc. on a strategic repositioning of the company, and advice to PG&E Corporation on the bankruptcy of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company and strategic alternatives regarding the National Energy Group. Also, advising Edison International on strategical financing alternatives regarding Edison Mission Energy.

Mr. Sauvage is a Phi Beta Kappa and holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in Economics from Washington University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
