J. Brad Swanson,

Brad is an investment banker who has worked in more than 60 countries and led over 30 strategic transactions totaling more than $1 billion in a range of industries.
In a 2004 leave of absence from DWM, he served in the US-led occupation government in Iraq, the Coalition Provisional Authority, as deputy director for private sector development. While in Iraq, Brad and his team provided financing, training and oversight to Iraqi companies, private sector commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and business centers.
As Senior Vice President at Banque Nationale de Paris, London from 1995-2000, Brad built a 15-member team focused on emerging markets which structured, underwrote and placed exotic risks for institutional investors in public and private offerings, advised corporations on strategic issues, and executed privatization assignments for governments.
As a Vice President in Bankers Trust's Corporate Finance, Middle East team in London from 1990-1995, Brad worked on syndicated debt finance, risk-hedging products, balance sheet restructuring for Kuwaiti banks in the aftermath of the Iraqi invasion and subsequent reconstruction.
Brad is a graduate of Princeton University and has an MBA from Columbia University.
