Armeane M. Choksi is a Managing Partner of Hudson Fairfax Group, an India-specific investment and financial services firm focusing on high-growth sectors of the Indian economy. Mr. Choksi is also President of the US-India Institute - a Washington DC based think tank established to promote a lasting alliance between the world's two largest democracies, particularly in the areas of security, defense and economic relations. Mr. Choksi has been involved in international finance for almost thirty years. He has advised governments in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East on issues of foreign trade and investments, privatization, deregulation, financial reform, energy policy, economic stabilization policies, social security reform and health and education policies. He spent 22 years with the World Bank, rising to the senior executive position of Vice President. Mr. Choski has also written extensively on foreign trade and is currently a Adjunct Professor at the Wharton School. He also serves on several governing boards.
Mr. Choksi holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, a Masters of Engineering from McMaster University and a Masters and a PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota.
