Mr. Edelman oversees mergers and acquisition activity for Bear Stearns Global Industrial Group. He has worked with many of the firm's most important client's such as Starwood Hotel and Resorts, Wyndham International, Insignia Financial Group, ITT, Shorewood Packaging, Clayton Manufactured Homes, Jones Apparel Group, Harrah's Entertainment, Blackstone, Kraft Foods, Nautica, Duane Reade and Penn National Gaming, in a variety of M&A transactions across industries such as Retail, Apparel, Footwear, Lodging, Gaming, Real Estate, Industrials, Chemicals, Natural Resources and other industries.

Mr. Edelman earned a BA from Amherst College, JD from the University of Chicago and an MBA from DePaul University. Prior to joining Bear Stearns in 1994, Mr. Edelman was an attorney in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
