Carlos Mauleon joined Barclays Capital in June 2001 as Managing Director, Head of Latin America Debt Capital Markets. In December 2001, he assumed the additional responsibility of Head of Latin America Investment Banking Division. Mr. Mauleon has considerable experience in the Latin American debt capital markets, having spent nearly two years at Chase where he was Managing Director and Head of Latin American Fixed Income Capital Markets (Origination). Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers where he was head of Latin American Debt Capital Markets (Origination).

Mr. Mauleon received his BBA in Finance/Accounting from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of Houston.
