The Wharton School

Eric W. Orts is the Guardsmark Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an academic co-director of the NASD Institute at Wharton certificate program. He is a professor in the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department with a secondary appointment in Management. His primary research and teaching interests focus on the law and policy of managing business enterprises. He has taught the basic course in corporate law and enterprise organization at Wharton since his appointment as an assistant professor in 1991 as well as during visits to the University of Michigan Law School, UCLA Law School, and currently NYU School of Law. His international perspective has been enhanced by opportunities for visits at the University of Leuven (as a Fulbright professor), Tsinghua University, and the University of Sidney Law School.
