Simone Balch
Vice President
Developing World Markets

Simone Balch is Vice President at Developing World Markets and is responsible for structuring transactions, marketing to investors and Investor Relations.

Balch began her career at Goldman Sachs Equity Sales and Trading in Chicago and later spent 4 years in Private Wealth Management in Switzerland.

Balch has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in economics from The University of Chicago. While pursuing her Masters, Simone worked with various microfinance organizations and networks including the Women’s World Banking and Philadelphia Development Partnership. In addition, she co-leads the China team of the Global Micro-entrepreneurship Awards, an effort by the United Nations to promote the Year of Micro-credit 2005.
