Steve Lipman joined Bear Stearns in 1984 and is currently a Senior Managing Director. He joined the Investment Banking Department in 1986 as a generalist and joined the Healthcare group in 1988. In 1993 Steve helped found Bear Stearns’ consumer investment banking practice, which he was co-head of until 2000, when he decided that his broad experience in banking could best be utilized in covering the financial sponsor community. During his tenure at Bear Stearns, Steve has completed numerous equity and debt financings as well as merger and acquisition transactions.

In addition to his work at Bear Stearns, Steve is a dedicated member of the New York City community and sits on the Boards of various charitable institutions including Riverside Park Fund, Rodeph Shalom School and Youth I.N.C.
