Andrew Madoff is the Director of Proprietary Trading at Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1988 with a degree in Economics. After graduating from Penn, Andrew joined his family’s business: Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC is one of the largest market making and trading firms in the U.S. Andrew has had a wide range of responsibilities at the firm, including overseeing the trading of Nasdaq and NYSE Listed stocks, convertible bonds, options and equity derivatives. He also helps manage the firm’s technology and global trading initiatives.

Andrew is very active within the securities industry and is currently a member of the Securities Industry Association’s Trading Committee and Market Structure Committee. He’s a member of Nasdaq’s Technology Advisory Council, and sits on several Nasdaq committees focused on issues vital to the trading community. He also sits on the NASD’s District 10 Regional Consultative Committee.
