Akshay began his career with UBS in 2003 as a summer associate between his first and second years of business school. He then joined the firm in the fall of 2004 with a focus on corporate Equity Risk Management (ERM).

Prior to business school, he worked at a start-up derivative venture in Philadelphia and in consumer electronics and investment banking in India. Akshay graduated as a Joseph Wharton Scholar from University of Pennsylvania and went on to receive an MBA from Wharton in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Akshay is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder and a candidate for the CFA charter having recently completed his Level 3 examination.
