Kalpesh Mehta is an Associate with The Carlyle Group and works in their Real Estate practice based out of New York. Kalpesh primarily focuses on Carlyle’s transactions and existing investments in NYC.

Prior to joining Carlyle in 2006, Kalpesh was a Summer Associate with Starwood Capital, a $2 bn real estate private equity fund, where he evaluated investment opportunities in India. Prior to that, Kalpesh was a consultant with Deloitte where he consulted for clients in the financial services industry and in the public sector.

Kalpesh received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he focused on Real Estate and Finance. He received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
