Professor Krishna Ramaswamy is the Edward Hopkinson, Jr. Professor of Investment Banking and Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that he was a professor in the Columbia University and a visiting professor in the University of Chicago.

His research areas include investment management in equity and bond markets and options and futures. Prof. Ramaswamy also provides consulting. Recent clients include Investment Management, Bankers Trust, and International Monetary Fund.

Prof. Ramaswamy holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University (1978), a MBA from Duke University (1973), and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (1971).
