Jeffrey M. Silber is a Managing Director and Research Analyst covering the educational and business services sectors for BMO Capital Markets (formerly Harris Nesbitt).

Jeff’s research has been recognized by a number of industry surveys including: the Wall Street Journal’s Best on Street Analysts Survey, the Institutional Investor All-American Research team, Forbes.com/StarMine Best Equity Analysts survey, the Reuters survey of small- and mid-cap fund managers and the Zacks.com All-Star Analyst team. He has been quoted by numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal and Business Week and has appeared on CNBC, CNN and Bloomberg TV to discuss the industries he follows.

Prior to joining the predecessor firm in 1996, Jeff was with Deloitte Consulting for six years, working on numerous financial, operations, marketing and strategy engagements in various industries including sports and entertainment, consumer products, retail and real estate. Earlier, Jeff worked in the Audit and Tax departments at KPMG Peat Marwick for four years. A Certified Public Accountant, Jeff earned a BS from Yeshiva University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
