Dimitri Steinberg is a Managing Director and head of Health Care Advisory at HSBC. Mr. Steinberg has responsibility for marketing, structuring and executing a range of transactions for clients in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Technology sectors. Prior to joining HSBC in 2004, Mr. Steinberg spent nine years at Lazard Freres in New York, where he was a Director in the Banking Group. He worked on a wide variety of assignments and transactions for many of Lazard’s most important clients, including: Saint-Gobain, The Limited, Sears, Harcourt General, Vivendi, Nestle, Bristol-Myers and GlaxoSmithKline.

Prior to Lazard, Mr. Steinberg also worked at Morgan Stanley, The Boston Consulting Group and Brentwood Associates, a private equity firm. Mr. Steinberg earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard University.
