Michael is a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Securitized Products Group. His responsibilities include Group Head of Structuring, Collateral Analysis, and Financial Engineering. He also risk manages the Securitized Products Trading Desks. Prior to his twelve years at Morgan Stanley he was a Managing Director at Prudential Securities in their Financial Strategies Group. He holds an A.B. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and began his career in 1986 at The First Boston Corporation in the Mortgage Department.
