Peter Mangano

Peter Mangano is a Managing Director with over 20 years experience in both the metals and mining industry and the investment banking and finance sector.

Peter currently holds the position of Deputy Director of US equity research. He has management responsibility for the Basic Materials, Energy, Utilities, Industrials, Healthcare, REITS, Strategy and Closed End Funds groups. Prior to this Peter held the position of Director of Global Research Operations.

Before transferring to New York from Sydney, he spent two years as Global Coordinator for the Resources and Basic Materials Sector and six years as a top ranked Equities Analyst in the Metals and Mining sector. Initially working with HSBC-James Capel before moving to County NatWest in 1996, which was acquired by Salomon Smith Barney in 1998.

He holds a B.Sc (Hons) with a major in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry and a B.Comm with a major in Accounting.
