Dr. Roger Leeds is a Professor at the School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University, and Director of the Center for International Business and Public Policy, and also is Chairman of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. His research and teaching focus on international financial markets, private equity investing in emerging markets and financial sector development.
Before SAIS, Dr. Leeds career included positions in business, finance and public policy, including Managing Director and Co-Head of the emerging markets practices at Patricof & Co., a New York-based venture capital firm, Partner at KPMG, where he headed the firm’s global privatization advisory services, and Director at Salomon Brothers in New York. Dr. Leeds also spent ten years as a senior staff member at the International Finance Corporation.
Dr. Leeds has published extensively in his field and has been guest commentator on radio and television programs, including CNN, CBS News, and National Public Radio.
