Gary H. Matt is a Managing Director and the Head of Exclusive Sales at Lehman Brothers. In this role, he advises companies across many industries on the sale or divestiture of a business. His clients are corporate, financial sponsor and family owners of businesses representing companies with enterprise values of several hundred million to several billion dollars. Buyers have included corporate acquirers, financial sponsors and other financial entities.

Mr. Matt has over 22 years of investment banking experience, all of which have been spent in Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Matt was with The Bank of New York, which had acquired his prior firm, Patricof & Co. Capital. Previously, he had worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert and Morgan Grenfell.

Mr. Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University with A.B. in History and Science. He earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
