Jill Schildkraut-Katz is a Managing Director and Head of Capital Products Structuring in Corporate Finance. She specializes in structuring tax efficient hybrid capital, pre-funded capital, risk transfer structures and cross border tax structures. She has structured and executed innovative regulatory and rating agency capital transactions for bank, insurance and corporate clients around the world, including many first-time regulatory capital transactions for the particular country.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Jill spent three years in the Global Insurance Corporate Finance Group of The Chase Manhattan Bank. Before business school, Jill spent three years with Irving Trust Company/The Bank of New York in the Asset-Based Lending Group.

Jill earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.B.A from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration.
