Xavier Sztejnberg Mr. Sztejnberg joined Blackstone in 2007 after beginning his investment banking career with Morgan Stanley & Co., and, more recently, with Deutsche Bank Securities, both in New York City. Throughout his career, Mr. Sztejnberg has been a mergers & acquisitions investment banker, with a focus on the consumer products and food and beverage industry sectors.

In addition to his professional career, Mr. Sztejnberg serves on the boards of non-profit organizations such as the Union Settlement of East Harlem and BoardAssist. He also has been quite active in leading fundraising efforts for his undergraduate and graduate alma mater.

Mr. Sztejnberg earned his Bachelor’s degrees in engineering and in economics, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology program and his M.B.A. with Distinction, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
