Phil Weeber leads Chatham Financial’s Structured Finance (SF) Team. The SF Team, which consults to Mortgage REITs and Business Development Companies, has executed derivatives in over 50 CDOs involving all major currencies. Prior to this role, Phil worked with Real Estate Opportunity Funds and Private Equity Companies advising on interest rate and currency risk.

Before working at Chatham, he consulted as a professional engineer, publishing research, and presenting at international conferences. Phil holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MS in Engineering from the University of North Carolina and an M.B.A. with Honors from Emory University.

Chatham Financial, founded in 1991, is the world’s largest independent provider of interest rate and currency risk management consulting services. In 2006, Chatham’s global team managed the equivalent of $325 billion in hedging transactions.
