Mr. Pepe is in his twenty-second year eighteenth at Merrill Lynch. He has experience in investment banking, and in both fixed income and equity capital markets. He currently heads the Americas Corporate Finance Group which works with relationship managers and across product groups to derive customized solutions to the corporate finance issues facing our clients. Until 2003, he co-headed the Equity-Linked Capital Markets Group, which comprises convertible bond origination and corporate equity derivative coverage. Prior to this role, Mr. Pepe managed the corporate equity derivative effort at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Pepe joined Merrill Lynch in 1987 as an associate in the Fixed Income Derivatives Group. Prior to moving to Equity Capital Markets in 1995, Mr. Pepe was responsible for the creation and marketing of fixed income derivative transactions for U.S. corporations. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Pepe was a corporate lending officer at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company (now J.P. Morgan).
Mr. Pepe is originally from Long Island and currently resides in New York. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelors of Science from Adelphi University.
